We first started looking for houses online. I had a certain amount of inheritance from my late husband, but I couldn’t afford to buy a home outright due to lack of funds. That’s when I came across shared ownership — and Moat seemed like a really good option.

We love everything about our new home. The neighbours are amazing — we all help each other out when we can. One of our neighbours moved in recently, and we lent them our lawnmower and strimmer. It felt good to support someone new.
